Logo

I put together a simplistic logo for myself. I wanted to create something that was subtle, yet basic, and possibly with a bit of futuristic pep. So I figured I'd make a basic shape, add a modest color (pastel pink), then add my name via handwritten font.

H+ The Digital Series, H+ Implant and Alpha Gary Bell

Warner Bros. has recently released a brand spankin' new apocalyptic series on YouTube! Yay! H+ The Digital Series is released in short episodes typically ranging between 2-4 mins long aside from the intro and credits. The series is set in a future world in which nearly everyone is connected to the internet 24 hours a day via a high-tech H+ implant that uses a floating hand-controlled interface that only the user can see. The user can listen to music, video chat, record video, watch live streaming programs, and a lot more. Which of course means there's no need for smart phones, computers, and cameras.

It is also demonstrated in one of the episodes that by simply coming in contact with another user, the user can have the other's profile pop up on their interface. Pretty neat! It reminds me of a similar concept used by French music artists, The Toxic Avenger and Orelsan, in their N'importe Comment music video; in which everyone is walking around as their Facebook profile.

Alphas - Gary Bell (Ryan Cartwright)
Gary checks Dr. Rosen's GPS, who is on his way to pick Gary up.

The H+ implant concept also brings to memory: alpha Gary Bell (Ryan Cartwright). Gary Bell is the high-functioning autistic on SyFy's Alphas, who is able to see all electromagnetic wavelengths without the use of hardware. Like H+, he can also access live cell phone and computer data, including those that are not his own, which is way cooler don't ya' think?

In H+ The Digital Series a virus released on the implant has killed billions of it's users. Each episode jumps between several story lines of people before, during, and after the virus broke out. I find the series addicting. Although I wish the episodes were a little longer, I look forward towards watching what happens next!
