My triangle keeps evolving! However, it is time to move on to other things...
I used Photoshop.

Messed around with Photoshop for a bit and created this.. I'm still learning how to use Illustrator. Hopefully I'll get to make stuff on there soon. I just never have time..!

My neverending Minority Report Obsession

Ah, Minority Report. I still remember the day I first spotted it on the Blockbuster shelf and took it home with me. We had just purchased our first DVD player and decided to hit up blockbuster to rent some good DVDs. Back then, our local Blockbuster store displayed mostly VHS tapes and they had a single wall for DVDs.

Minority Report was one of the few DVDs that we threw in with our stack of rentals. I don't remember the first time I watched it. However I clearly remember my obsession; watching the movie repeatedly to the point that it annoyed my siblings. I never returned the DVD to Blockbuster, in fact I still have it in it's original Blockbuster case over a decade later. I'm pretty sure the late charges are out of this world by now.

What I really fell in love with was the futuristic technology and I appreciated the scientific research behind it. Minority Report takes place in the year 2054, Washington, D.C.. Retina Scanners are posted throughout D.C., advertisements interact with passers-by, and there's even eye-scanning robotic insects used by Precrime to search for criminals. I also love the weapons created for this movie. Who needs a taser when there's Sick Sticks or Sonic Guns for that matter? My favorite weapon in Minority Report was the Sonic Gun - a non lethal weapon that is charged by whipping the barrel around. John uses a Sonic Gun in a chasing scene to shoot a sonic pulse at an agent, blasting the agent backwards into the air.
I found a pretty neat article here about the weapons used in Minority Report.

The futuristic world created in Minority Report greatly supplements an already thrilling story and it's plot twists. It blends perfectly; I feel that other films often fail to do the same. That is why Minority Report is my favorite movie, aside from The Terminator (1984) and Back to the Future (1985).
In my opinion, it is like Titanic (1997), it shouldn't be remade and should actually be re-released into theaters for today's generation to have it's chance to view the film on the big screen. It is timeless. I still watch it to this day.
